My own decisions have forced me to betray the one I love. Bounded by the one I hate, we now work together for the rest of our lives as if it were fate. This may seem like your typical enemies to lovers' romance, but this is actually my transition from a traditional pencil to a digital pen. Digital drawing has always been my sworn enemy since day one; However, choosing to be a graphic designer my imminent doom was sure to come. 

 

I draw to express the emotions and tell stories of my own as well as others. I want my audience to feel something, anything when they look at my art. As a child, drawing was a form of communication that I could use to reveal things that words simply cannot do alone. Unfortunately, drawing digitally was a whole new language which silenced me. After a while, my rough relationship with digital drawing has evolved through the ups and downs. Now, as I pick up my digital pen, I confidently glide across the tablet effortlessly creating strokes. The process itself is now its own story. Creating this comic is the start of how I became lifelong partners with my worst enemy, the digital pen.
